ThelocalteachersunionwasplacedinthetrusteeshipinlateJulyfollowinganexternalauditthatfound“grossfinancialmismanagement”anddeceptionwithintheleadershipofthelocalunion.
InOctober,thetrusteewhoisnowinchargeofthelocalteachersunion,LindaCook,hostedthefirstrepresentativeassemblymeetingsincethetrusteeshipwasinstalled.
